Alright…I suppose it’s been almost a month…lol. Well…as usual, things have been relatively usual as of late. We did just return last night from a four day visit to Santa Fe (New Mexico). One of our good family friends (who recently lived here in Tucson) lives in the “hill country” just southeast of Santa Fe so we went to visit him for Thanksgiving. It was definitely a well needed and relaxing break. I’m pretty sure I haven’t had a vacation like that for at least a year. To top it off, an inch or so of snow fell the night before the day we left so that was pretty nifty.
Also on the music front, I would like to mention a new addition to the collection: “Plans” by Death Cab For Cutie. Yes it’s a wierd name but not necessarily indicative of their style of music which is a variant of softer pop rock. I’m pretty sure they aren’t Christian but they are still relatively upbeat. Definitely worth checking out at least. Anyway, that’s about it for now. Late happy Thanksgiving!
